Question: What will TOPO! allow me to do with my GPS?

Answer:

With a compatible GPS receiver, you can import waypoints, routes, and tracks from your GPS to TOPO!. You can export waypoints and routes from TOPO! to your GPS.

Unfortunately, our maps will not download to most GPS devices due to the fact that GPS manufacturers have their own, proprietary mapping software.

However, Magellan has become the first GPS manufacturer to offer full, onscreen compatibility, usage and display of National Geographic’s maps. Magellan’s new Triton series of handheld GPS devices were developed to work seamlessly with both Magellan’s own and National Geographic’s proprietary topographic TOPO! maps. **(PC ONLY)
