Question: How do I delete corrupt map files from my computer?

Answer:

Follow the instructions below to delete corrupt map files from your computer so that they can be properly downloaded.

If you're running XP navigate to the following location and delete the 'drm' folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Local Settings\Application Data\TOPO! Explorer\(account ID ie 1243)\drm

If you're running Vista navigate to the following location:
C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\TOPO! Explorer\(account ID ie 1243)\drm

To clear your Mac of the corrupt maps the developers recommend -
Navigating to:
(user home) > Library > TOPO! Explorer > account id # (ie 18542) > drm
Delete the drm folder.

*Finally, relaunch TOPO! Explorer and login. Wait for the prompt “You’ve got new maps on the server….,” and click ‘No’
